We are somewhat getting the hang of things. Taking care of our little guy is a little more than what we anticipated. What thru us for a loop is the vomiting 15x a day. Today so far it has only been 6x. The poor guy is either dehydrated or backed up, he has only pooped once today. We go to dialysis clinic tomorrow to get checked out. He also has a appt. to get a nj to replace his ng tube. The nj goes further down to help keep his food from coming up. Hopefully it will help some. Hopefully he won't pull it out like he has his ng. The radiologist has to put the nj in.
Otherwise it is good to have him home. I even managed to go to bible study today. That is w/out the lil guy. Daddy took care of him. Dad has been doing a great job. Unfortunately he has to go back to work on Monday.
Well that is all i have time for.
Our baby boy diagnosed with Lower Urinary Tract Obstruction/Post Urethral Valve(LUTO/PUV) at 20 wks, He was not expected to live due to pulmonary hypoplasia and renal failure, He was born June 19, 2009 @ 34 wks , He has miraculously survived and has began dialysis. Began Peritoneal Dialysis on June 22, 2009 then to Hemodialysis on June 27, 2009, back to PD July 7, 2009
Oh how I remember those days of throwing up. For Logan, it would come and go though was more constant than gone. I have to say though, since transplant he hasn't thrown up even one time. It's the renal failure. : ( I am praying that Santino will be ready for transplant very soon. It really does make a huge difference. Also praying that you guys will get some relief soon and that the nj tube will work wonders!
